1. Declarative-The dog ran across the street.

Correct A Run-On Sentences

1. semicolon- The days were hot and dry; the nights were extremely cold.
2. comma- Joe, Bob, and Fred went to the movies.
3. period- The cat climbed up the tree.

4. subordinating conjunctions- Since Mom and Dad weren't there to pick me up, I had to walk home.





Sentence Structure

5. dash- she was telling the truth- or so i thought!
6. speaker tag- "come on Susan!" Margret said hitting the bathroom door.
